Wisconsin Democrats up for Recall Today

UPDATE: As I noted ealier, Democrat Wirch was more than likely safe; with 100% in his district reporting, Wirch beat Steitz 25,541 -v- 18,838.

With 79% reporting in Democrat Holperin’s district, he is currently beating Republican Kim Simac 23,756 -v- 20,150. Apparently it is still to close for JSOnline to call it. I am not sure what counties are left, therefore I do not care to speculate.

I find it quite amusing how the Liberal Media, and let’s face it there is no sense in labeling them the Main Stream Media anymore, because other than less of a handful, they are all far left leaning; anyway, I find it quite amusing how the Liberal Media was all over the Republican Wisconsin State Senator recalls last week but are extremely hush hush on the DEMOCRATS Wisconsin Senators up for recall today- August 16, 2011.

Oh well, nothing new here! Let’s see how this goes-stay tuned!

Tuesday’s elections are in the 12th Senate District of northern Wisconsin, where Sen. Jim Holperin (D-Conover) faces a challenge from Republican Kim Simac of Eagle River; and in the 22nd District of southeastern Wisconsin, where Sen. Bob Wirch (D-Pleasant Prairie) faces Republican Jonathan Steitz, also of Pleasant Prairie.

How Districts Vote in the April 2011 State Supreme Court Race

Which means, if we go by how the votes were tallied in April- Democrat Wirch is probably safe, however Democrat Holperin might not make it out so well!

and, below is how the state voted in the 2010 Elections

Democrats now walking back allegations of Fraud in Waukesha County- go figure!

Waukesha – Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus on Wednesday denied Democratic Party allegations that she was “sitting on votes” that ultimately helped swing the outcome to a Republican victory in the race Tuesday between Sen. Alberta Darling and Rep. Sandy Pasch, a Democrat.

Even as state Democratic officials were backtracking on what they later called “heat-of-the-moment statements” as Pasch fell behind in the vote count, Nickolaus explained that the final three wards from Menomonee Falls came in at 11:41 p.m. and were posted on the county clerk’s website at 11:47 p.m. Most of the village’s 29 wards in 10 reporting units were called in earlier, at 10:39 p.m., according to the village clerk. Nickolaus said she had those partial results posted at 10:47 p.m..

“It’s just a matter of understanding the process,” Nickolaus said. “I don’t touch ballots on election night. I stay in my office and have to wait for poll workers to get results to the municipal clerk, and for the municipal clerk to get them to me. I don’t run elections on election day. What I do is report the results after the election.”

Graeme Zielinski, communications director for the Wisconsin Democratic Party, had said on television and on Twitter Tuesday night that the Waukesha County returns included instances of tampering and irregularities. Menomonee Falls gave Republican Darling a nearly 2-to-1 edge over Pasch. Darling retained her 8th Senate District seat with 53% of the vote, one of four Republican incumbent winners among the six Republicans facing recall.

In a statement Wednesday, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said the party would not pursue questions of irregularities.

“The heat-of-the-moment statements came in light of the uncertainties that arose from a recent election, known too well,” Tate said.

Tate was alluding to Nickolaus’ failure to include in unofficial results about 14,000 votes from the city of Brookfield in the spring Supreme Court election. When she corrected her error publicly two days later, what had been a razor-thin lead for challenger JoAnne Kloppenburg dissolved into a 7,000-vote victory for incumbent David Prosser. But the controversy led to a state investigation of Nickolaus’ practices and a statewide recount of votes in the race.

Texas: Largest Job Creator by Over 625,000 More than the 2nd Ranked State in the Nation

Because the job growth in Texas is definitely something the REST of the US needs.

[via Hotair] A month ago, California legislators trekked to Texas to visit all the new jobs that didn’t land in their own state to figure out what went wrong.  According to BizJournals, a few dozen other states might want to make the same trip.  Over the last ten years, Texas has added more than 732,000 jobs net as the state withstood the worst recession in decades.  The next best state, Arizona, didn’t even make it into six figures:

The inventory of private-sector jobs in Texas increased by 732,800 between April 2001 and the same month this year, according to an On Numbers analysis of new federal employment data. …

Texas avoided the real-estate bust that decimated the economies of several large Sunbelt states, including California and Florida, during the 2008-2010 recession. It consequently was positioned for a faster takeoff once the national economy began improving, allowing it to create 251,700 new jobs in the past year alone.

The runners-up to Texas in private-sector growth were Arizona and Utah, which added 90,200 and 90,000 jobs respectively, during the decade from 2001 to 2011.

Of course, Washington DC ended up 7th on the job-growth list — thanks to the federal government’s expansion at the expense of the states.

Which state did worse?  Why, California, of course.  They even managed to outstrip Michigan, where the downturn in the auto industry and collapse of GM and Chrysler threw tens of thousands out of work.  Ohio, Illinois, and New Jersey all round out the bottom five, all heavy manufacturing states.  However, all of these states except New Jersey ranked in the top 10 for the most jobs added in the past year, with California coming in at #2.

What do Texas, Utah, and Arizona all have in common?  They are all right-to-work states Among the top five states, only Washington does not have right-to-work laws allowing employees free choice whether to join unions.  Seven of the top ten job-growth states are right-to-work.  The only right-to-work state in the bottom 10 is Georgia.  Earlier this month, Jim DeMint issued a report showing the correlation between right-to-work legal environments and growth:

Black Mobs Attacking Citizens in Wisconsin and Philadelphia

The vast majority of the main stream media will refuse to report on this because it is not PC to do so. Society, via the PC Police will expect you to ignore this growing problem, to pretend it does not happen for fear of being labeled a racist and bullied.

“Choosing to believe something that you suspect is a lie makes you a fool. Defending something you know is a lie makes you deceptive and immoral. Creating the lie proves that you are evil!”

These mob attacks by black youths are clearly NOT an isolated incident. There have been MULTIPLE violent and costly mob attacks by blacks in Philadelphia, PA and the latest at the Wisconsin State Fair where the black youths specifically attacked white citizens.

As for the Wisconsin State Fair:

Here is just some of what the witnesses claim to have experienced:

“I had a black couple on my right side, and these black kids were running in between all the cars, and they were pounding on my doors and trying to open up doors on my car, and they didn’t do one thing to this black couple that was in this car next to us. They just kept walking right past their car. They were looking in everybody’s windshield as they were running by, seeing who was white and who was black. Guarantee it.”

Fair worker: attacks not limited to outside fairgrounds

A witness told WTMJ that as he worked in a kiosk at the State Fair Midway, he saw what he described as “a Riverwest type mob. Easily between 50 – 100 kids all under 18 and all African American.  They were running around knocking people over (young kids and adults), looting the Midway games (stealing the prizes), starting fights.”

The witness, who asked not to be identified, couldn’t say for certain if only white people were being attacked.

“It was just complete chaos.  There were police on horses, lots of security guards, and EMT’s on the scene.  They never got control of the area.”

She described what she saw as she left the fair.

“As we came through the exit we saw a white boy lying in the street, in the fetal position right by the traffic light, and coming towards us was tons and tons and black teens – there had to have been over a hundred – in the middle of 84th Street and on the sidewalk headed south,” she said.

“Some who stopped to kick or punch him – or in the case of one girl drop kick him in the head – as they walked past. My friends and I started towards him to help him up and a black girl walked past telling us ‘ya’ll gonna get your ***** kicked’ repeatedly. As my friend stood in front of the boy trying to get him up one of the teens picked up a traffic cone, hit her in the back of the head and ran off. A car stopped, a white woman got out to try and help. Teens jumped onto the hood of the car and ran over it. She just kept saying ‘What is wrong with you!?’ “

Hundreds of young people left the fairgrounds and made their way down to the surrounding neighborhoods, smashing car windows, throwing rocks and beating people who were leaving the fair.

Several people were punched in the face, a child was pushed to the ground, one woman required stitches and another will need surgery for her injuries.

Police are continuing to search for suspects involved in the incident.

One witness said he saw a group of 20-30 young men attack someone walking by.

S & P Chief States Entitlement Reform MANDATORY in Order to Restore AAA Rating to US

~UPDATED: August 7, 2011~

S&P Chief Looks at ENTITLEMENT REFORM to Resolve Debt Downgrade!!!

David Beers, global head of sovereign and international public finance ratings at S&P, told “Fox News Sunday” that governments and Congresses come and go, but spending on entitlements persistently drags U.S. debt further into the red.
“The key thing is, yes, entitlement reform is important because entitlements are the biggest component of spending, and the part of spending where the cost pressures are greatest,” Beers said.

Beers said he faults both Congress and the Obama administration for “the difficulty of all sides in finding a consensus around fiscal policy choices,”

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz stating that Obama and the Democrats OWN This economy back on June 15, 2011~Politico Interview

S&P has effectively downgraded the US’ AAA rating to AA+. I said this before the debt ceiling was passed that we would be downgraded, I am only shocked that Moody’s put the US on a simple downgrade warning.

S&P and Moody’s warned that if there was not at least $4 TRILLION in cuts, they would downgrade.

Republican House pushed for $4 TRILLION, in fact Paul Ryan’s bill back in March 2011 called for $6 TRILLION in cuts, but Progressive Democrats, AKA the Socialist Faction of the Democrat Party screamed and hollered; so, Obama backed down and demanded MORE tax increases, to the tune of $1.2 TRILLION after Boehner offered $800 billion in tax increase via closing corporate tax loopholes and other tax priviledges.

So, the Republican House negotiates $800 billion in increase tax revenue even though the far right was against it and Obama cannot control the far LEFT of HIS party?

Obama’s own words, “I did not think it was fair that there was a 4-to-1 spending cuts to revenue increases ratio, there should be more revenue increases.” Go to minute 23:

Really?

Clearly S&P and Moody’s has an issue with Obama’s SPENDING PROBLEM!

Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz STATING that the DEMOCRATS own this economy and everything thta goes with it back in June 2011!!!

Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D), on June 15, 2011  said that the “We [democrats]  own the economy. We own the beginning of the turnaround and we want to make sure that we continue that pace of recovery, not go back to the policies of the past under the Bush administration that put us in the ditch in the first place,” Wasserman Schultz told Mike Allen at POLITICO’s ‘Playbook Breakfast.’

Downgrade + $1 TRILLION stimulus failure + 9% unemployment + 17% real unemployment + 1,000+ stock market plummet + Libya + Pakistan + Yemen + spending $4.5 TRILLION in 2.5 years + raising the debt ceiling to spend another $2.4 TRILLION by 2013 = EPIC FAILURE!

Duhhhhhhhhhhhh……….NOT WINNING!

DNC Chair states “the Democrats Own this Economy!” June 2011

FAA bill-What’s the Hold Up?

UPDATE-August 4, 2011: So, the HOUSE passed the FAA bill OVER TWO WEEKS AGO and Harry Reid and the Senate Democrats tabled it. They did not bother to read, debate or vote on it. Had they, they would have known that those MEAN OL’ TERR ORSIT HOSTAGE TAKING (sarcasm intended) Republicans put a provision in the bill that reads that the Transportation Secretary can essentailly cancel out the defunding of these small airports that cost tax payers MILLIONS every year if the Transportation Secretary feels it would be too burdensome to withhold funds.

Wahlla- READ THE BILLS DEMOCRATS and you would NOT have caused this DISASTER! Pass the bills DEMMOCRATS when you had a fillibuster proof majority for 6 months in 2010 and we would not have to do it for you!

The FAA bill that has caused an uproar lately EXPIRED in 2007. Who was in Congress in 2007?

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats controlled the HOUSE in 2007 and Harry Reid and the Democrats controlled the Senate in 2007.

This bill has been extended 20 times under a Democrat Controlled Congress. Why?

Democrats owned the Senate, House and White House from 2009-2011 with a FILLIBUSTER PROOF majority for 6 months…..

AGAIN- why did the DEMOCRATS NOT PASS THIS FAA BILL?

There has been a 75 year rule for unionization of railroad workers and airport workers that says those who do not vote are considered NO votes. Why?

So as to ensure unions were not bullying workers as well as to ensure unions were not refusing to tell workers who did not want to unionize or those who were on vacation or medical leave when meetings and votes were being conducted.

Now the Democrats are paying back their union campaign donors, to the tune of $400 MILLION in 2008, by allowing a simple majority vote. This means that those who are on vacation, those who are on medical leave or those who are not told when meetings are, their votes do not matter.

So we have to ask the Senate Democrats and Obama- is paying back your union buddies worth screwing the middle class out of jobs?

A day ago, LaHood was pressing the Senate to just swallow the bill passed by House Republicans, even though it contains provisions relating to unions that Democrats don’t support, in order to ensure FAA funding is reauthorized as soon as possible.

“Most of the big airlines are unionized. One isn’t. Delta,” said Rockefeller (D), who is the author of the Senate’s FAA reauthorization bill.

Democrats trying to FORCE DELTA to Unionize! Again, the HOUSE passed this bill and the Democrat owned Sente is sitting on it!

Michael Steel, a spokesman for Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), responded by calling out Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) for changing his tune since Tuesday, when he said he would accept the House-passed FAA bill.

“The only reason 80,000 jobs are at stake is that Senate Democratic Leaders chose to play politics rather than keep their word and pass the House bill,” Steel said. “That’s indefensible, and they should end this crisis immediately.”

Boehner later signaled that he is not about to budge on the issue.

“All it will take to end this crisis is for the Senate to pass the House-approved FAA extension,” Boehner said in a statement. “I respect the fact that Senators have certain objections, but they have had two weeks to respond to the House bill and done nothing, leaving tens of thousands of workers in limbo. The House has done its job, and now it’s time for Senators to do theirs.”

The HOUSE passed this FAA bill without the UNION goodies ,and the Democrats also complained about cuts to overall FAA appropriation; the bill approved by the House would return the agency to 2008 spending levels.

The Senate has tabled it. Like the failure to increase the debt ceiling in late 2010 and the failure to pass budgets in 2009 and 2010, this failure rests 100% with the Democrats!

A Plethora of bills passed in the HOUSE that the DEMOCRAT OWNED SENATE refuses to vote on!

Dow Jones Tanks as Obama Keeps Pushing his BIG Spending Anti Capitalism Mentality

DOUBLE DIP RECESSION….Dow Plummets 512 points….August 4, 2011 to make it a 1,000+ point drop in two weeks!

Obama prides himself on FDR’s policies within his NEW DEAL plan. I want to first start off with FDR’s Treasury Secretary and what he said about the failure of FDR’s Marxist New Deal:

FDR’s Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau, angry at the Keynesian spenders, confided to his diary May 1939: “We have tried spendingmoney. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and now if I am wrong somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosper. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises. I say after eight years of this administration, we have just as much unemployment as when we started. And enormous debt to boot.”

UCLA economists Harold L. Cole and Lee E. Ohanian are among those who believe the New Deal caused the Depression to persist longer than it would otherwise have, concluding in a study that the “New Deal labor and industrial policies did not lift the economy out of the Depression as President Roosevelt and his economic planners had hoped,” but that the “New Deal policies are an important contributing factor to the persistence of the Great Depression.”

1. Manufacturing Sector is at its lowest in almost 2 yrs

2. Consumer spending is down .2%, largest drop in 2 yrs

3. National Debt is now increased to $16 TRILLION and that only gets Obama to Jan 2013

4. The new Debt Increase now puts the US at 100% spending to GDP

5. Unemployment is still at 9.2% despite spending $1 TRILLION on jobs that were not “shovel ready”

6. Real unemployment sits at 17%

7. The worst run of selling on the DOW in 33 days- August 4, 2011 as it drops 400 points

8. Unemployment numbers for July come out tomorrow 8/5/2011

Obama and the Democrats YELLED that if this debt ceiling increase was not done, that we would be downgraded and stocks would suffer. Hmmmmmm, debt ceiling is increased and………stock market plummets 350 points and we are on a downgrade warning if SPENDING is NOT CUT massively soon!

Mexico Border Deaths and the Cost of Illegal Aliens on American Tax Payers

Interesting that Janet Napolitano (Obama’s head of Department of Homeland Security) stated that the Mexico Border has NEVER been safer than it is today. REALLY?

If you review the statistics above, all from either the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH), the Mexican Attorney Generals Office (PGR) or also known as National Public Security System (SUSP), and Reformia which is a ledaing Mexico City Newspapers that keeps track of KNOWN murders.

Since Obama has taken office and Janet Napolitano has been head of the Department of Homeland Security, murders have not reduced rather thay have almost TRIPLED in severity since they took over……..

FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform) have issued a report on July 10, 2010 estimating that the net cost of illegal immigration to the American taxpayer is approximately $113 BILLION annually based off of information from 2009….

Methodology
In our cost estimates we also include the minor children of illegal aliens born in the United States. That adds another 3.4 million children to the 1.3 million children who are illegal aliens themselves. We include these U.S. citizen children of illegal aliens because the fiscal outlays for them are a direct result of the illegal migration that led to their U.S. birth. We do so as well in the assumption that if the parents leave voluntarily or involuntarily they will take these children with them. The birth of these children and their subsequent medical care represent a large share of the estimated Medicaid and Child Health Insurance Program expenditures associated with illegal aliens.

The report also accounts for taxes paid by illegal aliens about $13 billion a year, resulting in a net cost to taxpayers of about $100 billion. However, the study notes that government at all levels would likely have realized significantly greater revenues if jobs held by illegal aliens had been filled by legal U.S. residents instead.

Federal spending on illegal aliens amounts to $29 billion, finds Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on U.S. Taxpayers. The lion’s share of the costs of illegal immigration is borne by state and local taxpayers an estimated $84.2 billion. In 18 states, expenditures on illegal aliens exceeded the size of those states’ budget deficits in FY 2009.

In 2004, the state of California reported that the KNOWN 3 million illegal aliens cost taxpayers nearly $9 billion each year, according to a new report released in 2004 by the Federation for American Immigration Reform, a Washington, D.C.-based group that promotes stricter immigration policies.

Educating the children of illegal immigrants is the largest cost, estimated at $7.7 billion each year, according to the report. Medical care for illegal immigrants and incarceration of those who have committed crimes are the next two largest expenses measured in the study, the author said.

Jack Martin, who wrote the report, said Thursday that the $9 billion figure does not include other expenses that are difficult to measure, such as special English instruction, school lunch programs, and welfare benefits for American workers displaced by illegal immigrant workers.

“It’s a bottom of the range number,” Martin said. AGAIN, this was in 2004, 7 years ago.

One year later (end of 2004), the report grew by $1.5 BILLION:

Dateline: December, 2004
In hosting America’s largest population of illegal immigrants, California bears a huge cost to provide basic human services for this fast growing, low-income segment of its population. A new study from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) examines the costs of education, health care and incarceration of illegal aliens, and concludes that the costs to Californians is $10.5 billion per year.

And for the Fiscal 2010-2011, costs of ILLEGAL ALIENS on the state of California now reaches ROUGHLY $20 BILLION and Newy York Obsorbing close to $10 BILLION in costs due to ILLEGAL ALIENS:

With many state budgets in deficit, policymakers have an obligation to look for ways to reduce the fiscal burden of illegal migration. California, facing a budget deficit of $14.4 billion in 2010-2011, is hit with an estimated $21.8 billion in annual expenditures on illegal aliens. New York’s $6.8 billion deficit is smaller than its $9.5 billion in yearly illegal alien costs

In 2008, a study in Georgia reported that ILLEGAL ALIENS cost that state alone over $1.6 BILLION annually. In 2010, Washington-based Federation for American Immigration Reform. FAIR released a statement claiming illegal immigrants in Georgia cost tax payers $2.4 billion… (AN INCREASE of almost $1 BILLION in 3 years that ILLEGAL ALIENS take away from LEGAL GEORGIA CITIZENS)

According to several organizations, there are about 425,000 illegal immigrants. Politifact editor Jim Tharpe said compared to other states, Georgia has the seventh largest number of illegal immigrants in the country.

“A lot of emergency rooms are strapped. This is an enormous cost if someone illegal comes in to have a baby. That can cost $10,000 right off the bat,” Politifact editor Jim Tharpe told Geary.

FAIR contends the biggest cost of illegal immigration, more than 50 percent, is education. The group also estimates there are more than 133,000 illegal immigrants in Georgia’s school system — for a total tally of almost $1.5 billion.

“They’re including U.S. born children of illegal immigrants who constitutionally do have a right to public education,” Sturgus said.

A FAIR spokesman defended the number, saying the children would not be in Georgia schools and would not qualify for means-tested government assistance programs if not for the fact that their parents are here illegally.

In today’s environment of scarce resources, Georgia cannot afford to continue to fund an illegal population. The General Assembly just passed an $17.8 billion budget. Imagine the number of legal residents that could be helped if $1.6 billion of the budget was not going to illegal aliens.

JUST THE FACTS: STATISTICS THAT IMPACT.

  • The largest Federal expenditures due illegal immigration:
  • “Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).”
  • $12 billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally.
  • $17 billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.
  • $3 million Dollars is spent a DAY to incarcerate non- U.S. citizens. Most are thought to be illegal aliens.
  • 30% of all Federal Prison inmates are not U.S. citizens.
  • $200 billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages is caused by immigration, both legal and illegal.
  • Hispanics in the United States have a crime rate that’s 2.5 times that of white non-Hispanics.
  • The Center for American Progress (Deporting the undocumented: A cost Assessment), ‘estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.’
  • In 2006, illegal aliens sent $45 billion in remittances back to their countries of origin.
  • ‘The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One Million Sex Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants in the United States ‘.

JUST THE FACTS: THE DEATH TOLL. 2006-2010

  • As of early June 2010, 5,829 citizens have perished in 2010, as a result of the Mexican drug wars.1 That’s approx. 1,000 deaths per month. When Will It Spill Over?
  • In the last week of June 2010 alone, over 500 people were murdered along the Mexico side of the border at the hands of the violent drug cartels.2 When Will It Spill Over?
  • More than 23,000 people have been killed in Mexico’s drug-related violence since President Felipe Calderon launched an all-out offensive against drug gangs in 2006.3
  • In 2009, the Mexican drug wars claimed 7,724 Mexican citizens, the highest death total since the war officially began in 2006.4 When Will It Spill Over?
  • In recent months, leading U.S. news agencies have reported the number of deaths along the U.S.-Mexico border has increased three-fold since 2008.5 When Will It Spill Over?
  • So far in 2010 there have been 2,657 murders in Juarez, six of them were Americans and three were student.

MEXICAN DEATHS: AT THE HANDS OF AMERICANS.

  • Mexico’s Foreign Relations Department said its records indicate the number of Mexicans killed or wounded by U.S. immigration authorities rose from five in 2008 to 12 in 2009, to seventeen thus far, in 2010.
