Boycott the Girl Scouts ~ Plainly Supporting Democrat Agendas

Before I get in to the latest issue with the Girl Scouts, a soldier a few years ago asked of his town, while he was serving in Afghanistan to boycott the Girl Scouts. One of the reason is below, to which I find as a viable reason:

1. The CEO of the Girl Scouts, whose home office is in New York, NY, makes $400,000 a year. The top pay for a Four Star General in the Army is less than $200,000 a year. President Bush makes $400,000 a year. This is just too much money to pay the head of a quote non-profit organization.(Girl Scouts). The sad thing is that the CEO of the Girl Scouts is making her money on the efforts of our young girls working hard selling cookies.

As though charging the OUTRAGEOUS prices for a box of cookies is not enough, they are not promoting Democrat agendas? Really? Because Media Matters being given $10 MILLION from George Soros to “wage guerrilla warfare on Fox News” that they openly admit isn’t enough to prove they are not an unbiased web site?

n 2010, the Girl Scouts of the USA published a book called “MEdia.” The publication, designed for girls in grades six through eight, is a guide that apparently offers insight into how young people should process and understand the media messages surrounding them.

Under the headline, “Consider the Source,” text encourages girls to go to the George Soros-funded Media Matters for America web site to clear up any media misinformation they might encounter. It reads:

The Internet is a breeding ground for “urban legends,” which are false stories told as if true. Next time you receive a txt or e-mail about something that seems unbelievable, confirm it before you spread it.

The fact-checking site snopes.com investigates everything from urban legends to “news” articles and posts its findings. Media Matters for America (http://mediamatters.org/) gets the word out about media misinformation.

This story was originally brought to us by Christy Volanski, a concerned parent and a former Girl Scouts leader. Her daughter, Sydney, a 15-year-old who served as a Girl Scout for eight years, left the organization in 2010 after she found that it embraces some controversial stances. Now, Sydney co-edits “Speak Now: Girl Scouts Website,” which provides plenty of other examples of what some may see as liberal bias.

I cannot in all good conscience give money to an organization that promotes one political party over another unless that is their INTENT! Girls Scouts are NOT supposed to be political, however in their books they hand out to girls, they clearly support one political party over another. We have enough of out tax paying dollars being stolen and given to entities like UNIONS, NPR, Planned Parenthood to which are not only biased, but give tens of millions in donations to DEMOCRATS.

The next time you have $5, ask yourself if you want ONE box of cookies from the Girl Scouts that promotes the Democrats agenda or purchase two boxes in the store that helps keep people WORKING and providing for this country via taxes and their PAY CHECKS!

I am going with the working class on this one from now on!
