Media Research Center-A Tax Exempt Organization- Asks Obama to Spy on Fox News Employees

21065College Students Ask Obama to Spy on Fox News Employees; What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Before I go further with the Media Research Center, just a reminder that under the Obama administration, the IRS was unleashed on the Tea Party groups who dared to request Tax Exempt status. The “alleged reason” for the anywhere from 1 – 3+ year delays, we have been told is due to the Tea Party groups “highly political”  activities and therefore do not deserve tax exempt status.

Yet Media Research Center enjoys tax exempt status while openly ADVOCATING for the illegal searching of Fox News employees records, phone calls emails because they differ on political ideology?

Someone explain this logic please.

Students at George Mason University (GMU) signed a petition early this month asking President Obama to listen in on the “private conversations” of all Fox News employees and their families.

The petition, which was circulated on GMU’s flagship campus in Fairfax, Va, near Washington D.C., by Media Research Center video reporter Dan Joseph, described the right-leaning news channel as “a threat to media integrity and an informed populace.”

We want the to be able to legally read their private e-mails and listen in on phone conversations between Fox News employees and their associates and their families,” Joseph explained to students, asking for their support.

And of course, we cannot leave Media Matters alone in the Highly Political Tax Exempt Hypocrisy Corner….
